I realize you could be anywhere, but you are here with me. Thank you…
One of the most beautiful, poetic, and frightening moments in life is when two souls meet. It can be beautiful and poetic if there is a divine connection, but it can be frightening if you have experienced far too many damaged souls. But it can also be both beautiful and frightening simultaneously — a mother and father meeting the soul of their baby for the first time. A newlywed couple entering forever together.
When souls meet, it can be beautiful, it can be messy, and it can be unlike anything ever experienced on this earth. And we all have the ability to decide which type of soul we want people to meet — healthy or damaged. Negative or positive. Loving and kind or hostile and bitter.
When you encounter me, my soul, I pray you experience peace. I pray you experience joy. But most importantly, I pray you experience love.
I may not be perfect in every experience, but it is my hope that through my writing you will get a glimpse into my soul. I pray you will see and feel my heart for you — the love God has bestowed upon me to share with His people.
It is my desire that we all first love God, and through His love, learn to love ourselves and learn to love each other. And it is through my writing, my fashion, and whatever else I decide to share with you-you will experience the beautiful essences of my soul, the depth of love within my heart, and the fruits of my wisdom.
I will share my thoughts, ideas, and experience on various topics, ranging from racism to building relationships. Though it is my goal to always speak in love, some topics may be hard and require tough love.
I hope to empower, encourage, and promote spiritual, emotional/mental, and physical growth and love among you all, but particularly, my beautiful Black people. ❤️❤️❤️
I love you all, and if there is one thing I want you to gain and leave with, it is to remember to love all three entities — God, yourself, your neighbor.
30 Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ 31 The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these.”
